Southern Addictions Advisory Service will use the funding to provide individual counselling and family support for those using or affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse, to sustain recovery and re-build families. The project will be developed using input from partner agencies and beneficiaries to expand sessions to include out of hours services and to offer support for other issues, including eating disorders and gambling. Peer support networks will also be set up to help aid long-term recovery.

The project will provide long-term counselling and family support for those using or affected by an individual's drug/alcohol misuse to sustain recovery and rebuild family units and the community. Support networks will be developed thoughout different localities in Surrey with service users. Activities include confidential one-to-one counselling, group work and support, and the development of family support networks.
