The project will support beneficiaries to access adult learning opportunities and particularly learning opportunities that are funded and or supported by the Mayor of London such as the London Multiply programme and AEB numeracy provisions. The project will also raise awareness of learning opportunities such as skills opportunities and careers in the Academy priority sectors (green, health and care, hospitality, digital and creative). The project will also seek to break and address barriers to learning experienced by beneficiaries.
The project will engage with (list is none-exhaustive);
1. older and younger Londoners
2. Black, Asian or ethnic minority Londoners
3. women 4. individuals with English language needs
5. refugees and asylum-seekers
6. those most likely not to be engaged in adult education
7.individuals impacted by the cost of living including those who are out of work or Londoners earning below the London living wage.
8. adults with learning disabilities
