Using different platforms they will provide weekly shows that will offer people the chance to join in with songs provide important public health information and the opportunity for themed events. The funding will be used by the group to help deliver online sessions over 12 months. It is looking to continue and develop their twice weekly online Fun Sing & Smile sessions across England for 12 months in response to lockdown measures and the forced closure of their popular 220 daytime sessions across England and Wales. The project is also to introduce professionally researched videos which concentrate on the importance of exercise in the home. The project hopes to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of a minimum of 400 people.

The Goldies singing sessions project aims to address isolation and loneliness across South Wales. It will also deliver its ‘Time after Time’ (Tro ar ôl Tro) intergenerational project in schools. A BIG SING will be held in the final year of the project bringing together groups and of ages in a musical event. 26 new sessions will be established over 3 years; 500 isolated older or disabled people and 500 young people of school age will benefit.
