Women Powering Change will work in the deprived wards of Tower Hamlets and aim to empower those affected by cost of living crises and digitally excluded Bangladeshi women with low levels of English to become more financially independent by developing skills and qualifications which will help them gain good work, especially in the Mayor’s priority areas. The project will map out and build strong links with local AEB funded provision including Multiply projects, identifying a key point of contact for referrals. Through outreach, community events and one to one support the community outreach team will reach 1,000 people from our target group, referring 500 into local provision with a conversion rate of uptake into courses of 25%.
