    TO RELIEVE PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES AND FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THOSE LIVING WITHIN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK, IN PART BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:1) PROMOTING DISABLED PEOPLE'S INDEPENDENT LIVING AND THEIR SOCIAL INCLUSION BY PREVENTING THEM FROM BEING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED OR BY ASSISTING THEM TO PARTICIPATE AS EQUAL CITIZENS IN SOCIETY;2) PROMOTING THE EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND RIGHTS OF DISABLED PEOPLE AND THEIR ACCESS TO APPROPRIATE SUPPORT;3) FACILITATING INDEPENDENT LIVING IN THE COMMUNITY, INCLUDING SOCIAL LIFE AND RECREATION;4) PROVIDING SERVICES WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND WELL BEING OF DISABLED PEOPLE.
