The funding will be used to transform children and young people’s outcomes across Liverpool City Region with a focus on deprived wards in Halton Knowsley Sefton and St.Helens. They aim to do this using a place based collective impact approach which brings together residents (young and old) community organisations education settings and public sector services to work collectively to agree and overcome the priorities set by each local community. Key strands of work will focus on educational attainment youth activities and wrap around family support. Funding will be used to commission VCSE sector organisations to deliver desired outcomes co-designed by local steering groups in each area.
