The ReSERVe programme will work with 360 girls/young women and although the long term impact will be difficult to measure we fully expect that this work will help -girls/young women withstand pressure and make informed decisions with confidence -reduce unwanted pregnancies and STIs -keep more girls/young women safe from abusive relations INFORM assemblies/talks (300 girls/young women) 300 - 100% -increased knowledge and understanding of sexual health -know the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships -know where to go for support/advice regards relationships and sexual health Anticipated Long term impact (not measurable): -Increased confidence to seek support for contraceptive advice -Young males attend assemblies and are made aware of womens key rights making it easier for young women to feel confident about challenging abusive behaviours TARGETTED WORKSHOPS (36 girls/young women) 100% -understanding of personal rights -understand the impact of risky sexual behaviour -know how to use condoms effectively -offered chlamydia test -able to identify abusive patterns of behaviour -encouraged and supported to explore their own attitudes to relationships and sex Anticipated long term impact (not measurable): - improved confidence, self-esteem and mental wellbeing -empowered to make better and healthier choices in the future -reduction in unwanted pregnancy and STIs -empowered to seek treatment for chlamydia diagnosis avoiding future fertility complications -of those identified as in need of additional support are provided a bespoke consultation HEALTHY CONNECTIONS 30 contraception drop ins -make informed choices about their sexual health -issued condoms or assisted to make GPs appointment for other contraception eg LARC Anticipated long term impact: Reduction in pregnancy and STIs INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT (18 girls/young women) 100% improved mental health and wellbeing 100% increase their confidence and self-esteem 75% make changes in their circumstance which may relate to: risky sexual behaviour, abusive relationships, improve their sexual health and relationships
