IPSWICH OUTREACH

We run the Ipswich Soup Kitchen a nightly outreach program that has been running since 1992.In addition we have an Outreach Bus to offer a greater service for our work, The bus is also equipped with a clinic for other town agencies to use at no cost enabling them to work at street level with our clients. Our services are open to the homeless and any other marginalised or vulnerable adult.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • The charity has received modest backing from a grant maker
  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy
  • There are only 4 trustees

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
