This project will provide information, advice and support for parents of disabled children living in Lewisham. It will employ a new family worker who will provide face to face support to families on issues such as how to access services and how to link with other parents in similar situations. A range of workshops and support groups will be set up to encourage parents with disabled children to get together, share experiences, support each other and have a say in the shaping of local services.
