This project will expand the existing volunteer network across Scotland and increase the numbers of volunteers to deliver improved peer support to families with a child, young person (or adult member) affected by a cleft lip and/or palate. The group will also set up a Children and Young People’s Council in addition to Patients Voices Groups. Staff will also provide information, advice and guidance and will also use social media to reach as many people as possible affected by cleft.
