This project will deliver swimming sessions for women from culturally diverse communities. This will be achieved by delivering weekly 1 x 2 hour session on Saturdays and 1 x 1 hour session on Sundays for 52 weeks. Sessions will take place at Beverley Baths by a qualified coach. Funding will help support staff and volunteer costs, venue hire (inclusive of swim instructor costs), swimming costumes, prizes and travel costs. At the end of the project, the aim will be to establish new swim group or club, allowing participants to continue swimming.

HANA are well positioned to support these families as they have good experience, knowledge and networks to support BME families and wider communities.
