REACH OUT TO THE COMMUNITY (ROC)

Main activity is to provide direct support to rough sleepers, and the homeless in helping them into accommodation, accompanying them to appointments, assisting with travel costs, providing clothing and food. We provide an outreach service across South Manchester. We have a food bank and provide food parcels on referral basis. Have a community hub which is also drop in for anyone needing help.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received backing from several prominent grant makers recently

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Why are there only 3 trustees?

Financial issues to consider:

  • Income has been volatile recently
  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
