AUNTIE VAL'S ABILITY CENTRE

Auntie Val's Ability Centre helps people with various disabilities including physical and mental health. Based in West Sussex, we work with people from all areas of the county. Our volunteers work alongside those who are disabled in the production of artisan preserves, pickles and chutneys. We offer opportunities to train people in Food Safety, Food Hygiene and Skills for Life.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received modest backing from a grant maker
  • There has been strong growth in spending since inception
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income was lower than spending in the latest year
