Each week we have over 60 young people come and play football. This was started after a conversation with a Mum and her 11 year old son as she wouldn't let him out of the house as she was rightly concerned about him being picked up and exploited by other young people and adults - particularly involved in drug trafficking. The young lad wanted somewhere safe and fun where he could go and play with his friends where his Mum would feel confident to let him out. This is where Friday Football started and continues to grow.
