GROUNDED COMMUNITY

To educate, share and grow, so we can reconnect members of our community with nature, with food and with each other. We want to work together to build an abundant, circular food system and a culture of storing, reusing and redistributing food surplus. To do this, we focus on four areas: education, community, access to food and environment.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • There has been a change of accounting period recently, so trends may be hard to determine
  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
