ON THE STREETS OUTREACH

We are a frontline street operating charity. We provided hot and cold food. Hot and cold drinks. Nutritional snacks. Shoes clothes socks pants sleeping bags. Tents. And help to fined shelter in Birmingham city center for the extremely Vulnerable and street sleepers. Also since lockdown ie. COVID. We have been delivering food parcels to those in need

They have stated that the food parcels will cost £12 each. Their Facebook profile has a recent post (07.04.) stating that they have now run out of funds and will no longer be able to deliver food. They have a donations link which has received limited response. Would recommend an increased grant award.

Objectives

TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF HOMELESS PEOPLE IN BIRMINGHAM BY MEANS OF AN OUTREACH TEAM WHICH WILL WALK ROUND THE STREETS OF BIRMINGHAM AND UNDERTAKE THE FOLLOWING ON A WEEKLY BASIS: • PROVISION OF CLOTHING, FOOD, TOILETRIES; • PROVISION OF SLEEPING BAGS AND WHERE APPROPRIATE, TENTS; • PROVISION OF HOT AND COLD FOOD AND DRINKS; • PROVISION OF BASIC FIRST AID • ASSISTANCE, WHERE REQUIRED, TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
