Who they support

For groups supporting vulnerable people most affected by the emerging issues of the threat of the coronavirus, groups helping tackle identified needs in Hertfordshire, innovative local schemes which aim to reduce crime and make communities safer, projects helping to engage young people in social action such as campaigning, fundraising and volunteering, promoting the health and wellbeing of older people in Bushey and the surrounding area, and for families in crisis to cover the cost of essential items such as beds, bedding and white goods.

Grant criteria

Coronavirus Relief Fund for Hertfordshire, HCF Large Grants (up to £5,000), HCF Small Grants (up to £1,000), Police and Crime Commissioner's Action Fund, #iwill Youth Social Action, HCF Friends of Bushey Seniors Grant, Hertfordshire Children's Fund

Depending on the grant, awards can be up to £5000

Application procedure

Organisations can apply through the HCF website and will need to complete the online application form and attach or send the required supporting documents which include: - A copy of the groups constitution or governing documents - A copy of the groups most recent annual accounts - A list of the names and addresses of your trustee or management committee - Copies of any relevant equality or safeguarding policies
