PETER MINET TRUST

Who they support

Peter Minet Trust is an independent funder making unrestricted multi-year grants to small, local and inspiring charities based in Lambeth and Southwark. We fund charities that are rooted in their communities and bring communities together, helping residents overcome severe and multiple challenges. We work with other local funders to strengthen the voluntary sector in Lambeth and Southwark.

Grant criteria

We make unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 a year for up to three years to local, inspiring charities who work only in Lambeth or Southwark with annual turnovers of between £25,000 and £300,000. We fund charities that are rooted in their communities and bring communities together, helping residents overcome severe and multiple challenges. We want local charities to be stronger and more stable so they can carry on working alongside residents to overcome these challenges and be active in these communities. We work in partnership with the charities we fund and get to know them. We trust the charities to know how to use the grant. We work with other local funders and organisations to strengthen the voluntary sector in Lambeth and Southwark.
