This funding will enable Moodswings Network to support people with severe and enduring mental health problems and their friends family and carers to rebuild aspects of their life to improve emotional well-being and recovery so they can live their best possible lives. The funding will allow the charity to employ two recovery service coordinators. Moodswings provides information advice and support to people with mental health problems specifically mood disorders. They now support those with any form of emotional distress.

This project supports people with mental health problems. People entering the Recovery programme receive one to one support over the phone and in a weekly support session with a dedicated recovery support worker. Beneficiaries also have access to counselling, a friend and family support group and a social group for those who lack experience or have difficulty in social situations. The project includes a 'fit for fun' group which encourages the use of exercise for anxiety management and a life skills group.
