We are seeking core funding to support our salaries, strengthen our organisational resilience, and deliver and develop our services for children and young people with additional and complex needs, especially our yoga sessions and work experience programme, leading to improved mental and physical wellbeing, reduced isolation and improved employability. This funding will support our organisational stability to deliver and develop our work, improving children and young people’s activity levels, mental and physical wellbeing, employability and reducing their isolation. As a result, we could ensure that our service is delivered to the highest possible standard and recruit and train additional therapists, enabling us to serve up to 50 more children and young people.

Therapeutic yoga for children and young people with additional or complex needs

The funding will be used to build the capacity of the group to become a deaf and disabled people led organisation. They will recruitie an inclusion coordinator who will provide governance support develop and deliver a monthly parents’ peer support group organise annual general meetings and lead on community consultations . The project aims to increase the inclusion of people living with disabilities at all levels for the therapeutic yoga club for children and young people.

£42,850 over 3 years (£14,000, £14,280, £14,570) contributing towards salaries to deliver therapeutic yoga work with children and young people with additional needs and disabilities.
