TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, BUT IN PARTICULAR OF BAMER WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH;1.1.1. WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES DESIGNED TO IMPROVE IT SKILLS, CV WRITING AND ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE1.1.2. RAISING AWARENESS OF RADICALISATION, ONLINE EXTREMISM AND HATE.1.2. TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF BAMER WOMEN WHO HAVE SUFFERED DOMESTIC ABUSE, FORCED MARRIAGES, HONOUR-BASED VIOLENCE AND FGM BY OFFERING CULTURALLY SENSITIVE AND CONFIDENTIAL ADVICE AND GUIDANCE.1.3. TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, BELIEF OR CREED (IN PARTICULAR MEMBERS OF THE BAMER COMMUNITY) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY:1.3.1. PROVIDING A LOCAL NETWORK GROUP THAT ENCOURAGES AND ENABLES MEMBERS OF THE BAMER COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY1.3.2. INCREASING, OR CO-ORDINATING, OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE BAMER COMMUNITY TO ENGAGE WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS, TO ENABLE THOSE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF THAT COMMUNITY.1.4. THE PROMOTION OF RACIAL HARMONY BY:1.4.1. PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS;1.4.2. ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS;1.4.3. WORKING TOWARDS THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE1.5. TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY THROUGH ADVICE AND GUIDANCE ON MONEY MANAGEMENT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE FINANCIAL LITERACY.
