To establish a county lines pathfinder that will firstly facilitate four local authorities to develop practice to reduce the number of children involved in County Lines and secondly to disseminate that practice to other local authorities, Youth Offending Teams (YOTs) and Childrens Services to enable them to similarly reduce children at risk of involvement in County Lines. This will make a significant contribution to the reductions in serious violence that the Prime Minister has drawn attention to and is wholly consistent with the YJBs plans agreed with the Secretary of State. Norfolk Youth Offending Team will act as the lead Youth Offender Team and will represent three other participating YOTs (Essex, Cambridge and Suffolk). |
